HOW TO KICKSTART YOUR CHRISTIAN TRANSFORMATIONAL JOURNEY

WHERE ARE YOU HEADED

The end goal is ‘the God-life’.

Make it a priority to find out and understand what ‘the God-life’ looks like because you will need to have that promise etched your heart as you navigate the journey there with God.

Also, it will make Wednesday’s #boomtip way easier to get to

SELF-ASSESS

When last were you brutally honest about where you are at in your relationship with God?

Be careful; this is not to condemn you, but to soften and prepare your heart.

“Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith” – Paul (2 Corinthians 13:5).

Don’t go easy on yourself here, and do not water down God’s values. Brutal honesty is needed for your journey to stick.

COMMIT TO THE UPS & DOWNS:

The transformational journey is not easy.

Paul advised Christians to persevere by “fixing their eyes on Jesus” (Hebrews 12:2).

How? Fill your spaces. Meaningful prayer, meditating on God’s Word, link up with like-minded folks and fellowship, read books, attend meetings, and yes, ditch mindless activities that crowd your heart and leave less room for God.

SET GOALS, GET ACCOUNTABLE

You cannot go from zero to hero in a day.

Set practical transformational goals to get from where you are to where you need to be.

Take your journey one goal at a time, and hang out with like-minded folk who are also all about their transformation. Better still, get a Christian Transformation Coach, I happen to know of one
